With the passenger seats heat/cool button being right next to the cup holders it was inevitable that some beverage would spill onto the rocker button. Mine was an overfilled soda cup from a drive thru place.
When the car is nice and warm, the rocker works pretty smoothly. But when it's really cold out and car isn't overly toasty the rocker switch really stick and when you push on it, it struggle to rock back and forth.
I've tried using a Q-Tip soaked in alcohol to clean it and I thought it worked but on a cold morning recently I felt it stick really bad.
So what can I do to get down and deep and clear out the dried soda gunk from the crevices of the switch? Q-Tip soaked in Goo-Gone perhaps? Any other ideas?
Thanks for any help you can offer.
