  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I read on another post here how to access the Service Menu using the Phonebook, but it seems Hyundai changed the code for the 2012, at least on the R-Spec Sedan.

Does anyone know how to get there on the new models with Lexicon?

My reason is I'm thinking of getting a Grill from Korea with the Front Facing Camera, but I'd like to make sure I can access the option before I go any further.

Thanks for that!
I wished I seen that post before I spent so much time figuring it out on my own.

I played with it for a few hours, reading the Service Bulletins for Hyundai's web site, and stumbled on that same process by accident.

Thanks!

Did you find anything in there useful or fun to change?

Yes, my new head unit was showing two electronic suspension options only available for the Equus and it wasn't displaying the two easy access options available in my Genesis (you know, those two settings that make driver seat and steering wheel move back when exiting the car).

The Service Menu allowed me to hide the electronic suspension options and unhide the easy access ones.

Hi TimeOut,
I have the same issue in my 2012. In Settings I get the 2 suspension choices (both non-functional) but no Easy Access which I could really use. Could you please explain how to hide/unhide these options using the ENG menu. I understand how to get into ENG, just not sure where to find what I need once I'm in.
Thanks

Once in the ENG menu, navigate to: Variant -> System Variant Settings

Then, you disable "ECS Height", "ECS Suspension" and enable "Steering Easy Ac." and "Seat Easy Access"

BTW, This post shows all the options in the ENG menu

Same here on my new head unit on the 2012 R-Spec. Put out a post a few months back.

So far I found what I was looking for, a screen that talks about enabling the front-facing camera, but I haven't figured out how to change the setting yet.

What I want to do is get a Korean/Prada grille with the built-in camera and enable it on my R-Spec.

Does anyone know how to access the service menu on a 2012 Premium model? The touch screen nav. module does not have a phone book that you can create a new entry to put "1@". Nor does it have back button to press. Thanks.

I have same question. I couldn't find how to access SERVICE MENU in case of 2012 3.8 Premium Pack (not a Tech Pack).

Assuming it's enabled, does the front camera work in the parking assist mode? (I hope so). Can the camera be installed in the original grill or is a special grill needed? Is there built-in wiring to hook-up the camera?

Thanks, new owner of a 2012 V6

Found out today that under variant in the service menu of my 2011 4.6 there is a vehicle choice.

Hyundai BH which is the Genesis sedan

Hyundai VI which is the Equus

no choice for PRADA

Interesting isn't it.

this worked for me on me 09 tech. thanks

Prada was released in 2012MY. Most likely why.
