  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I had my car worked on by a mechanic about 4 months ago it's been snowing like oil leaking the whole time and the mechanic said that it's burning oil. He replaced the the seal gaskets cover. I recently had taken to the Hyundai dealership and they said that there is an oil leak and it's from the gasket seals and they had to replace them. The first mechanic charged me a little bit over $3,000 for a couple other things as well and the dealership charge me 2900 but to fix oil leak and replace gasket was 1900. . Is it to late to take go to first mechanic and ask wtf is going.on and try to get a refund or sumtin

Without some details, difficult to say for sure. You may want to check your local laws for arbitration for things like that. You'll need an inspection and/or review of what was done, or not done.
