I have some good news and some sad news to share. The good news is that I know how you can lease a G70 for $177 a month! First, you need a time machine to go back to late spring, 2019. You know, when the G70 was on fire sale, S-Plan pricing could be had via a member of this forum, and times were good. I leased my very own G70 Sport 6MT under such circumstances, taking advantage of that S-plan and $5000 in factory incentives. Here was my deal:

I put $1,000 down to cover first payment and fees and my lease payment was $385.
Fast forward to 2022, and my lease is coming to an end. The car has been fantastic in every way, and so has my dealership experience. Aside from scheduled maintenance, the car had seen the dealership only once, and that was for mis-aligned headlights from the factory. Truly a great car, and a great ownership experience. Given the huge increase in used car values in the last 3 years, my residual value of $19,510 seemed like a joke. Indeed, after some negotiation the Genesis dealer agreed to buy out my lease for $27,000, putting $7,500 into my pocket as a great send-off present for this remarkable car. And I was over my alotted 36,000 miles by 5,000. If you take the $7,500 and amortize it over the life of the lease, my effective lease payment was $177/month. Amazing.
Now, onto the sad part. I am departing the Genesis world. If Genesis still made a manual transmission, I would be staying, but there are very, very few RWD, manual-equipped 4-door cars on the market and sadly Genesis does not make one. So...so long everyone, it's been fun.
Also, if anyone has need/interest in a set of snow tires & wheels, PM me. Photos at the end of this post.
