How to reset instrument cluster?

I would just disconnect the battery for an hour or so and if that works.
 
Have you checked fuses?
 
I bought a used cluster on Ebay ($60) since they wanted $1800 for a new one. Works fine but has a lot more miles than my car actually has. Dealer can't reset or reprogram it.

Well, you would really want that to be the case, to reduce roll-back fraud. I know that on some digital odometers, you could advance (increase) them to match the miles on the cluster being replaced, but you could not reduce the odometer reading.
 
I just had my '13 cluster replaced. The dealer sent the cluster to NJ and had the new one set to my present mileage. Work was done under warranty but I was told $250ish for the reset out of warranty. Check with your dealer.

What kind of warranty was it under? I heard it's just 5 years for the cluster.
