I keep reading all these posts about people letting their Lane Keep Assist do the driving for so long that they start to get warnings about keeping their hands on the wheel. It makes me wonder if my LKAS is either poorly calibrated or broken.
Even in Pre-Departure mode on straight roads with very clear lines, my Genesis wanders significantly within the lane. I often have to intervene to keep it from crossing the line (or wandering so much that I look like a drunk driver). My commute is on a recently repaved/repainted highway with extremely gentle curves but the LKAS can't navigate any of them on its own.
I'm sure this system is covered by the warranty, but how do I know if it's actually broken or if it's working as intended?
