HUD (Heads Up Display) Issues!

Hey guys, had a recent trip to Panama City Florida from Macon, GA (280 Miles). On the way back, I noticed the right half of the HUD start to fade out or disappear slowly. Where I would see the navigation arrows is where it started. I tried turning the HUD on and off from the DIS and that didn't help. A few minutes later the right side slowly came back and then it started on the left side. This time, I thought of taking a picture. See 2 pics attached. Excuse the blurriness, I had to crop the picture.

Oddly enough, a few minutes later everything came back and the HUD looked perfect. I haven't had the problem again since. Any ideas why this would've happened?

It is fogging up. Happened to me a few times. Turn on your defrogger and it will go away.
