  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey all, I was wondering if others have Hyperdipped/Plastidipped their factory 22-23 SP wheels? I'd love to see some pics to have ideas of how different colours present on those wheels. My car is Savile Silver and I don't like the black wheels on the car, but not sure what else might look good particularly with the stock wheels.

TIA

I'd go with a powdercoat if you're wanting to change the color, that plastidip is great for small things like emblems or lettering, but on larger items it doesn't look as nice, has that rubbery look to it and can peel pretty easy, especially if you need a tire change.

I've thought about doing Hyperdip as well. My factory 2019-2021 sport rims in smoked Charcoal were replaced under warranty for clear coat peeling, dealer forgot to mention, that color is no longer available and I got the gloss black ones  My car is Himalayan Gray and it was the perfect color combo with the original rims. Been thinking about Hyperdippin' the black rims with Stealth Grey Hyperdip.

But yeah, like blnewto said, Powdercoat albeit more expensive is the best "buy once, cry once" solution
