  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey everyone nice to meet you I hope y'all can help me. So I was in an accident long time ago but I finally decided to fix the headrest that deployed. For the love of God this thing won't pop back in I took it off the seat but it won't budge. Idk if I'm doing something wrong but I got a headache from doing this.

I'm having the same issue in my 2013 sedan. It looks bad like this but I cannot seem to fix it. I took a picture, is this your issue as well??

Her you go.
I printed out your instructions, and I did everything as instructed but when I push down (after the locking springs are released, I can get the pieces together but no matter how hard I push, nothing "clicks" into position. Mine is a 2012 Genesis.

There is a plastic clip inside that has to latch. Sometimes it breaks off, requiring headrest replacement.

Gosh I hope not! I was able to get one together. Do you know if I could just take one from the back and put it in the front??
