  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Nearest Hyundai dealer is 50 miles, but we have a KIA dealer in town. Need an oil change for my Genesis 4.6, using Mobil 1 0-30. Hyundai oil filter cartridge # 26320 3C700 purchased from Hyundai dealer for $17, actually marked MAHLE 26330-3C300. KIA dealer says they have no comparable filter, so I must use the spare bought from the Hyundai dealer for the oil change.

Does anyone know if KIA uses the MAHLE 26330-3C300 in any application?

Thanks,

Bob F.

It woul seem that the Kia Borrego with the Tau V-8 would use a common filter.

I don't know the answer to your question, but on a slightly different note (although similar), I think O'Reilly's Auto Parts carries the filters. I don't change my own oil (and also have a V6), but I remember looking at one point and I think they are the one's I found that carried them--price was reasonable, too, as I recall. You can check online first...assuming you have one in your area.
