  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Did I read somewhere that Hyundai sends new Genesis buyers a $1000 cheque and if so, is this applicable only in the U.S.?

I know there is rebates towards the car from the financial side (leasing, financing) that are applied at the point of sale - but I have not heard of a 1000 check being mailed to you. The closest is the 500$ Costco Gift Card for buying it through their auto buying service.

My dealer would have applied $2000 to the purchase of my Genesis if, and only if, it were my second Hyundai.

Somewhat unrelated, but I was at the dealer today for an oil change, and I noticed there were "April sales" for the Genesis Sedan. $5,000 of MSRP for a 2009 and $4,000 of MSRP for a 2010.
