  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My mom got a 2014 Equus, and we tinkered with the new A/V user interface. It is orders of magnitude better than my 2012 Tech UI. It is a total home run. It hangs well with the BMW, which is my current favorite in-car UI out there. (We test drove a few BMWs, so I got familiar with those systems again.)

It makes me want to dump my Genesis to upgrade to a newer year with the current UI.

Find someone, or a boutique, with a Tesla Model S.

The U/I on that thing is unreal! Totally shatters every other vehicle on the road, plus most in the air.

I've heard Chrysler has a great electronics system especially their Navigation. I've never owned a Chrysler. Cadillac's CUE, BMW's I-drive UI, and our G have been bashed for electronics. Ford just dumped Microsoft and is turning to Blackberry to create a UI.

Is there a major auto manufacturer that does electronics right?

I agree on the Tesla. While the car has misses (useless sun visors, no door pockets, poor seat lateral support, and many more) it has an awesome electronics interface and is the most enjoyable sedan I have ever driven. The combination of ride and handling is superbly balanced. The electronics UI shows how it should be done and ongoing updates that are downloaded to users have made for a very loyal group of owners.

Yup it's the iPhone/iPad of the car industry.

Chrysler - nice big touch screen, I can sync my phone and play my music over bluetooth, display what is playing, answer calls, etc.... all without ever having a chrylser with these futures. Easy.

Ford & GM - not too bad, not as intuitive as Chrysler

I only discovered yesterday how to display song/artist/album on half the screen in my genesis from my ipod - by hitting "random play" - I cannot intuitively do this any other way, so I guess I dive into the manual....

Love the stereo - glad the UI is improving.
