  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Traded my 09 Genny (blue--3.8--base)in for an 09 Lincoln MKS in 2011---many problems with the lincoln---luckily I purchased an extended warranty which covered all---so I find another 09(Silver---3.8--tech) with only 24,300 miles on it which has been sitting at a used car lot for about three months---checked it out last Friday---mint--looks new--it will be mine this Friday after really beating up the salesman and his boss---my Lincoln and five grand----the other plus is the Genny was a Florida car---now going to Connecticut--so it will get a taste of winter road chemicals for the first time.
I am really anxious and thrilled to be back driving a Genesis again---it's really amazing how little the public knows about the car so that I could turn this deal because the dealer wants it off his lot.
This forum is a great resource as I have been catching up with all details, problems,TSB's etc----so thanks to all of you for posting

Buy the extended warranty and a set of blizzaks... and welcome back!

I purchased my black on black premium 3.8 in July 2009 and just rolled past 25,000 miles on Monday. The car is in showroom mint condition. II love the car and wouldn't dream of parting with it at this time.

No need for the blizzaks, if you want a good all season tire. I drove again in Snow in Minneapolis this morning with my Pirelli Cinturato P7 all season Plus tires in snow across the metro. Superb traction in snow. I am loving them!

How many miles were on your Lincoln?? Unless a lot, I wouldn't have thought you would have needed so much to-boot money.
