  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Well I took my 2013 R-Spec in for oil change and left with a 2015 5.0!!! Empire Slate Gray w/ the black interior. Tail light recall done and I'm first in line for tire replacement. I gotta say it's a fantastic ride. I loved my '13, but the '15 is fantastic!! I didn't get the Ultimate, so it'll take some getting used to not having the mouse/wheel thing to control the tech. My Lexus didn't have one and I got along fine. Biggest difference in first 100 miles so far is the seat. Much more comfortable for my fat(ish) a$$ than the '13, which was just comfy enough. Seat coolers work better and air con cools down much faster. Sorry for long post. I'll give updates in near future.

Congrats.. And this is example of why they encourage dealer maintainence in dealer training. :)

Congrats!

Thanx Gents! I rented/leased the '15. 3yr/12K-miles. I bought my '13 and put some $$ down on it. They gave me $34,200 for trade in. I had some equity in it so I rolled that into new car. Not sure how they did that because last time I did same move I got a check from finance company. I should mention I got usual rebates and "family" discount as I'm the business manager's Tax preparer! Not sure if I still got a good deal but I'm paying under $400/month.

Agree....that is not a good deal.
It is an INSANELY GREAT deal! Wow...that is a $52K car...

Well done!
Congrats!

Traitor!

Thanx again! Remember I had some equity from the trade in. The $$ I put down 18 months ago on the Rspec helped get my rental payment lower. Living in the northeast helped as well. Everyone is buying up the AWD's.

I was waiting for one of you to call me that!! I made a bet with myself and narrowed it down to 4 or 5 of you that were gonna call me Frado! And, YES Dareck you were on that list. I don't post much, but I'm on this forum every day. This is the best forum I've ever been member of.

Ha ha ha! :D

Seriously, congrats bud! .... every time I go to the dealer just to take a look at the new cars or test drive, I'm afraid I'm gonna buy it.

It happened 3 times in my life; '94 Mustang GT, '98 540i and '99 540i :)

Enjoy your new ride and don't forget to post some pics ;)

Congratulations on your new Genesis! Have any pictures of the new one yet?
