For an old (71) hotrodder, as a guy who has had everything from custom cars to muscle cars, streetrods, etc.I was in the market for something with a little performance...
I drive to see my grandkids (140mi round trip) several times a month, and i was looking at a BMW's 335is, (wife said too small) Lexus ( too boring,) then as i was renting cars for the past 2 years, they had a Genesis 3.8 that i couldn't get out of my mind, it handled better than all the cars i rented, so i decided to take a look...
I found that out they made a 5.0 and couldn't believe it had 429hp, i looked in the tristate area on line and it said there was none available, so i took the wife to a doctor app. and coming home i passed a Hyundai place and took a look at the inventory outside (about 100 Genesis') all 3.8's, now thoroughly depressed i walk in the showroom and there on the floor was an R-Spec!!!, i told the salesgirl i was leaving with it today, and within 2 hours i was driving my Platinum Metallic home...
Now they wife is thrilled with all the room, and i'm in my hotrod glory...

P.S. It came with wings on everything already

I feel the same way about my R-Spec Coupe, after having many fast cars and bikes over the years. It's more than enough hotrod for the real world of mini-races among traffic and cops, enough practicality for my daily life, and came at a great price, with safety and coverage to spare - the perfect blend for me :)
