I have difficulty getting a navigation SD Card to be recognized

I made the mistake of erasing theNavigation SD Card and purchased one on eBay. When installing it I receive a message "Navigation Unavailable Check SD Card. Can someone please help me with installation?

Who knows what you actually have. Proper size? Format? Version?
Start over. Download the installation from the Genesis web site

I have been on tecHyndai site many times and haven’t seen reference to installation instructions except for download ing updates. That’s what got me in the mess I’m in.

IIRC, the original SDF was a 32 gig but updates require a 64 gig. I have no idea what the deluxe is you mention.
Did you download the updates? Did you use the Genesis updater?

If you have the base, 8" nav system, the update for the 9.2" ultimate nav system will not work!
I am certain despite what was said, that the car came from the factory with a 16G map only SD card. Updates require a 32G update + map SD card. Your system will not work with any SD card larger than 32G. You need one that is exactly 32G.
