  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

i like to know whats the idle speed with the a/c on with the car in park and it in gear because my car idle at 500 i think it should be a little higher

It's discussed in this thread (starting at the third post). Several people mention that theirs idles at 500 RPM. Mine idles at 500 RPM, and while it seems like the A/C is struggling to cool the car it doesn't idle rough. I think it's set that low for emissions.

Whatever the idle speed is it's probably not adjustable except through a software update.

What? You can't turn the idle adjustment screw in a little? It's the one by the carb with the spring on it that butts up against a stopper. :D

its between 500 to 800 so between those are OK

below or higher is a problem

Mine is at 500 too. The dealership i work at (hyundai) said it's fine. When my car is warm it stalls sometimes when i start it but i also need spark plugs
