  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

If you've been eyeing a Genesis G70, now is a good time to try and get a deal!

I've really liked the G70 ever since it came out, but never really thought about it as I was happy in my F30 335i. Fast forward to now and with the BMW leaving warranty, I looked around to see if any of the dealers nearby had stock of the G70 3.3T. Turns out their is plenty of these still on the lot in my area and I walked out with what I thought was a very solid deal for a fantastic car. The interior is a huge step up from my F30 and the power (even being nice to it during the break in period) is incredible. The twin turn v6 really gets you going and the ride is much more comfortable. I would encourage anyone interested to take a look in your area and see what you can negotiate with the dealerships who certainly don't want to carry these into 2020.

Details:

MSRP: $46.5k ($50k was original markup)

Negotiated cap cost: $38100 (+/- a few dollars)

Money factor: .00008 (.19% equivalent)

Residual Value: Somewhere around 48%

I wasn't all that happy with my F30. Bad ride and very squeaky inside. I like the G70 much more (except for backseat room and front seat comfort). The power is great!
