- Genesis Model Type
- 1G Genesis Coupe (2009-2016)
I just bought two 2010 genesis coupes. Both are manual 2.0t Canadian models. One had a dead clutch and I’m putting it back on the road. The 2nd car was crashed and I bought it to part out and to fix the first.
The good one had a key made when the original was lost and the “new” key feels like crap in the ignition and has no fob. Can I simply swap the ignition or am I going to run in to problems. I’m reading that Canadian models are chipped.
If so can I get past that by swapping ecu’s? Thanks.
