Good Afternoon. I am new to the Genesis ownership experience. I bought a used 2017 Genesis G90 Premium AWD with the 3.3T engine (black exterior and black interior) in early February of this year with about 78K miles.
I live in SW Tennessee, and I have put about 2,000 miles on my G90 so far, and I love the way the car drives. My wife and daughter love the car too.
I have already experienced a few issues. My active air flap/shutter system malfunctioned requiring a new module, and my service engine soon light came on yesterday with a P0597 code.
I saw there is a TSB for my vehicle regarding the thermostat with this code. I bought a pretty comprehensive extended warranty (5 years/60,000 miles with a $100 deductible), and it is probably going to pay for itself over the 5 years at this rate…lol.
Anyway, I am glad to be here, and I am enjoying my G90 so far. Hopefully after I get this thermostat issue resolved, the “mechanical” issues will become less frequent or go away.
Edit: I don’t need assistance with the few issues I noted above as this is my Introduction post.
