Getting familiar with the group...
Good morning;
I have a Motorola KRAZR phone and just purchased a 2010 3.8L Premium Genesis.
I was able to sync it up with the integrated Bluetooth without incident, however all of the incoming calls (even though they are local) have a leading +1 prior to the number and thus showing as unknown in the Nav display.
My phonebook has the proper names and area codes forming a 10 digit string (Example: 000-000-0000), but the incoming call is displayed as: +1-000-000-0000. I have tried everything I know to identify why the leading +1 prefix is appearing, but to no avail. The +1 prefix thus will not sync up with my address book and the caller is highlighed as "unknown".
Anyone experienced this and if so, any suggestions to remedy?
Thanks to all for any assistance you can provide.
