  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Have a V8 Plat w/ Tech Package. Have had it about 4 days. Dash during the day appears normal from what I have seen via pics etc.,

At night, the "blue" on the instrument panel, just does not seem as pronounced on pics I have seen at night and in the brochure.....I can brighten and adjust via the dial...but all it appears to do is the white light
Question...could I have a blown fuse that controls the blue lights, circle around the tach and the speedo, or could the blue bulbs have blown....

Any advise is appreciated.

Are you talking about the speedometer, tach, fuel gauge, temp gauge? They are pretty close to white. They might appear to be blue in a photograph because of the nature of photography which exaggerates the color cast of artificial lights (both florescent and incandescent). The human eye/brain tends to adjust for artificial light and minimize the differences.

Thanks for the insight.....I thought I was crazy. I was expecting to see the blue in the dash panel, as the pics i have seen ....now that you've explained the photo scenario, I guess I have no issues. Thanks again,
