Most everyone knows Im unhappy about the suspension on my 2009 V6 Tech Genesis...

While I was out looking for 2010's I roll up into one dealership with my 09 and the salesman greets me as I get out and here is the conversation.

Salesman: Welcome to _____. Nice car. Here to trade it?
Me: Yes I am. Do you have any 2010's?
Salesman: Yes we have one that just came in.
Me: Great. Can I see it.
Salesman: let me guess why you want to trade it... the suspension. You do know the 2010's suspension has been redone?
Me: yes I do and thats why Im here.
Salesman: My boss's father bought an 09 V8 Tech and cant stand the ride performance.


So for what its worth (for the people that have issues with the suspension) there seems to be some knowledge at some dealerships that Hyundai does have a problem with the 09's..

I just found this very interesting that he provided me with the info before I even said anything.

Every single person associated with HMA and/or a Hyundai dealer has known about it for awhile. They just don't want to talk about it untill the 2009 units are sold.

I like the 09 ride quality, so I guess I'll love the 10 ride quality, huh?

Well it might be too soft for you, IF the 2010 is really softer.

Went out today with my brother-in-law using his 05 Ford Freestyle AWD. It rides just as hard as my Genesis. (And here I thought the Genesis was the only one <grin>).
