Interior lights 2016 Genesis Ultimate 3.8L

Guess this is the day for dumb questions!
Dawned on me awhile back that when opening the doors the interior lights didn't come on' I'm missing something,like a switch that should be on.or do I need to turn them on manually every time I get in?

There is a switch on the overhead console. It's on the right with a picture of a car on it with the door opened. Hope that helps.
