Intermittent Text Messaging Issue

2019 G70 3.3T Prestige. Updated to the 13.5 Mapnsoft software about 3 months ago. About 1 out of every 5 times I connect my phone, I am unable to send or receive text messages. OnePlus 7 Pro with Android 10.

Anyone else had this issue? I cannot remember if it happened on the previous software version, but I had not had the car very long before I upgraded. No other issues I have noticed.

My previous phone (Pixel 3A XL with Anrdoid 10) had issues where it wouldn't 'trust' the G70 anymore, i.e. contacts won't import, text messages won't send/receive and bluetooth audio wouldn't work. Going into bluetooth settings and pressing "sync contacts" (or something like that) helped sort itself out. My new phone (Samsung S20) has not done this to me yet, but because of Covid, I haven't had much time to experiment with it.

I've got a OnePlus 6, and messaging seems to work great when paired with my G70. Both via Bluetooth and USB (Android Auto).
