  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Introduction

do you feel that a smaller spoiler would have been a little better? or do you really like that size? by the way what is your age as that might play a factor in your decision and mine =)?

I looked at both and decided to go with this one. I wanted a more noticeable lift like the new BMW M5's and M3's. This spoiler fit very well To the trunk of the car. The smaller one reminded me of the ones on the newer Lexus ES ( old people car IMo) BTW I'm 44.

Yeah but I had an e46 m3 and an e92 335I with the small lip spoilers and they looked really good...I don't like flashy spoilers but yours looks really nice and sleek...and if you are 44 and day it looks good then I guess I would most likely like it.

Wish there were more pictures of the smaller ones...are you a very conservative kind of guy? Would you say you like more stockish kind of looks.

Very nice ride you have there. How do you like the K&N drop in filters and the Dynomax mufflers? Drone? Any sound clips? Thanks.

and while you are answering that...can you take some pictures of your spoiler farther away? lol i hope im not being too annoying. i mean it looks so good but i feel like the spoiler coming off the back of the trunk is too much and might take away from the sleek look.

if you had to do it again would you go with this one again, get the smaller one or not get one at all?

I'm happy with the one that I got. Exactly what I was going for. You should get the smaller one so then we can how that looks.

Thanks, the filters are good I felt a small seat of the pants difference in acceleration and sound. I don't have the mufflers yet as I'am still debating on what to get.

Thanks for the info on the filters. I noticed similar results in my Accord before I pit in the Typhoon intake. I'm assuming you went with ARK lowering springs? What do you think of the springs so far?

On F type, the handling is little bit better than on OEM springs, you can notice that when cornering hard (mind you, I have wider rims and summer high performance tyres) and with this "minor" drop, I think shocks/struts will handle it just fine.
The ride quality is still smooth, almost like driving on stuck suspension.

Those F type aren't available on their website yet, but if you call them, they might sell you a new set. I was the first one to test them out for them.

Here is link, ask for Mike, he is alright....tell him Darek from Chicago sent you :D http://www.arkperformance.com/category-s/31.htm

Top one is on GT-S and lower on GT-F

So I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a set of ARK springs. I spoke to Michael and the GT-F is available. Besides for aesthetics which set do you prefer in regards to handling and ride quality? Thanks again

Definitely GT-F, especially for heavier V8 cars as ours.
