iPhone connection issues

Hi all, I have a 2015 Genesis “tech package” NZ/AU variant and purchased an iPhone 14 pro max, now when I connect via usb it does not recognise the phone, on o/s 16.1.1 as was my old 11 pro max which worked fine.

Car S/W is DH.AUS.SOP.10.003 and despite multiple attempts unable to update any newer

Anybody else have similar issues??

Connects via BT no problem just not connecting via usb …. Very weird

Ok, I think we can conclude that this is not a car software issue … at least it recognizes the phone …

Mine no longer reads texts from my iPhone... even though it turns down the radio volume as if it's going to.

I have the same issue with my 11 pro max. Connects fine through BT but it’s not recognized when plugged in with usb. Wants to use Pandora, which actually works and plays from the app on my phone.
Also, the usb ( and cord) seems to be working properly as other model iPhones connect without issue.
It did recognize my iPhone 7 pro max and worked correctly.
This has been an issue since the first day I got the 11 pro max.
Any ideas on how to fix this? Or is there another thread I can reference?
Any help is much appreciated.
