  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi, my 1st gen iPod Classic works fine with "just 1 proviso" I'm using an Apple Cable from the Hyundai socket in the Center Console..
The iPod is set on Shuffle, but everytime I restart the vehicle I have to reset the System to Shuffle..(The iPod remains set on Shuffle)
Using the Hyundai Cable to the iPod -> iPod does Not Connect..
iPhone4 powered via power outlet ~ BT and everything else is 100%.............
Any Ideas? -- Help Appreciated.......

Yep - same issue - I don't think there is a fix for this - it's just an oversight and design flaw of the system.

I have a gen 5 classic I think and while it will control the ipod, it won't turn it off when the car is turned off. Later generations are supported for that. I just dumped everything on a thumb drive, and use the voice command "random song" .That does the trick for me.
