  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

iPod not recognized on start up unless replugged in

Thanks for the information, everyone. Just purchased a 2015 3.8. The first thing I noticed about the car once I got it home was that my music began playing from the first alphabetical song every time I restarted the car. Boo Hyundai.

As far as I know, this is standard behavior for all recent Hyundais. My 2011 Sonata, 2013 Azera, and my 2015 Genesis all revert to the alphabetical first song when fist plugged in.

Sometimes that will not happen if the iphone is already in a play list, but usually, it's back to "A".

If I use Bluetooth, the song will start from the current "now playing" on my player.
