  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello all,

It takes a while to find your favorite artist or song because of the way you have to scroll and wait (always alphabetical order). Instead of scrolling, just tap the knob backwards (towards the rear) and it will bring up the next screen of songs or artists. This method is a little quicker, not the best, but better. Still have not figured out how to make it shuffle.

Thanks

Fred

i experience the same thing. If there is an album that happens to be of duets with a particular artist, each song is listed separately. As such, i have ended up with a couple pages for some artists. You may already do this, but there is a page down feature when scrolling. Instead of dialing to scroll down, move the knob to 6 o'clock (don't push down) and it will move down one full page.

I think you both have said the same thing, and I thank you for the tip. I had no idea of this function and it will certainly be a timesaver.
As for shuffle, this works for some but not for others (confirmed to work with iPhone's iPod):
Have cable plugged in. Set iPod to shuffle. Connect to cable. Your mileage may vary, but it definitely works for some.
