  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Has anyone felt the need to add Dynamat to the doors and/or trunk? I have heard multiple comments about the stereo and it seems that a sub may be the only thing needed though that is user dependent.

If I put in a sub I have thought about Dynamat for the trunk and maybe doors but wonder if that is overkill for this car.

Unless you plan on going with something drastic, it's not necessary IMO. It always helps of course, but with a single sub you should be fine without. Just place some barriers in the vibration prone areas (license plate/gas cover) and you should be good to go.

If you plan on building a setup in the trunk well (spare tire), then I would dynamat that area.
