  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Is it possible (and easy) to retrofit the wireless charger cavity cover on 2021 and prior G70s?

That was the one thing that both my wife and myself thought made the car look cheap. And she was upset to know it was included before. Don't understand why delete it, even in the top trims. Oh well. It's probably more trouble than I'm willing to do, but just in case it's an easy job, rather ask. Thank you.

Put a portable charge unit there.
edit: a few months after purchase Genesis sent me a gift (they did that in those days) of a portable charge unit which I keep at home but will work in car. I need no charger since carplay provides charging.

What I meant is that darn hole looks ugly as hell uncovered. And it was covered up to 2021, I believe. So want to retrofit that cover, if possible.

Never mind. I don't think there ever was a full cover for that cavity, meaning starting right below the defrost appendages, and covering the entire cavity. Finally found a picture of that 'cover', and apparently it's just a lid that covered the USB and 12V ports. But the wireless pad replaced that, and in both cases the cavity is still fully visible, so not worth messing with it. Thanks anyway gang.
