  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Model Type
Equus (2011-2016)
I’m looking at new shoes for my ride. But I’m wondering if this used 2015 Genesis 5.0 is lowered. And if it is, does that effect what my wheel choices are?

Front ride height: 27 3/8”
Rear ride height: 27”

Hmm, it could be. My '15 5.0 was lowered on Ark GT-F springs, I took some measurement a year after, take a look at them.
(Check the color of the springs, if they are orange or beige.

Thanks for the measurements.

From what you shared, it would be safe to assume it has been lowered.

Looking at the springs, they look to be black. So without taking off the tires and getting a closer look, I won’t know the manufacture. Assuming they’re labeled.

BTW Dareckibmw, I’ll be looking to get some Velgens like the ones you have. Just deciding if I want to stay staggered or go squared. And I’m looking at the bronze finish to compliment the Empire Slate.

I know, "Storm" had some lowering springs as well, but I don't know what color they were.
Go stagger, you'll love the stance 20x9 et32 and 20x10.5 et45 ;)

Staggered was a great call man! Those 295 in the rear are so mean looking! Thanks!

But while the wheels were off, I took a closer look at the springs. My ride height suggested that my car was lowered. But this is what I found.
