Is my G80 AWD or RWD???

In the summer of 2021 I bought a 2021 genesis G 83.5 prestige RWD. Just recently looking through the Buyers paperwork and Scheduled Appt. E-Mails . I noticed that it says “ AWD. “
It has the same exact VIN. as my car.

Do you have axles connected to the front wheels?
Do you have a heated steering wheel? Headlight washers? (unless that changed in 21)

My 2015 had headlight washers but my 2018 does not.

I bought a 2021 G80 2.5T Prestige AWD last year
It DOES have an AWD badge on the trunk lid
The presence or lack of AWD badge should answer your question (as well as your "window sticker")

Your financing paperwork should have a VIN on it, right? If the financing paperwork and the sales paperwork doesn't match the car they gave you, go back to them and get the car you bought. If it does, and the dealer claimed the vehicle has AWD and it doesn't, well then, unfortunately, you just dealt with a crooked dealership.

I would take it back to the dealer and tell them to make it right and get an AWD model(or cash back on the option) on their dime or you’ll retain your lawyer.

To my knowledge all 3.5 engine equipped GV80’s in the USA are AWD.
Only the ones with the 2.5 engines can have either.
Assuming we are talking about 2021 GV80 or G80.

Yes, the 2022 3.5 is AWD but I don't know for sure the 2021 offerings
