  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I only see one paint code, YB6 when searching the Internet and it appears to be used interchangeably between Onyx and Caspian. But I'm not sure. Anyone?

I want to buy a spoiler on eBay for my Caspian Genesis but it's listed as Onyx. The seller wasn't exactly helpful with their answer, although he responded quickly.

Are you sure that the spoiler is for the sedan, and not the coupe?

I'm really not interested in having a discussion about the spoiler, unless that discussion involves helping me find the answer to my color question.

Is there anyone here that isn't a jackass and can actually answer the question?

I have owned 4 Hyundai cars all black and all appeared to be the same color.....They all had a metallic look to it and all had a different name my 2016 Genny. Also looks like the same color

You might check with your dealer to get some info..........you also might check with a body shop

But i see people doing heavy mods to their car, much more substantial than a spoiler. Considering how much is done to the _UNDERSIDE_ of the car in terms of aerodynamics (the springs in the rear have air foils), I think a spoiler is bad business just like any aerodynamic changes would be.

And considering how much work by Lotus and Hyundai went into the suspension, any changes, and i mean _ANY_, are to an obsessive compulsive like me tantamount to painting a smiley on a Jackson Pollock.

Cursory google search led to GT car lot. They do not appear to be the same (probably flake content or flake size)

I did a search and many websites have the Black Onyx as YB6, which is the code of the Black Caspian Metallic. I think is a name typo.
