Is Smart Phone Mirroring Possible for Ultimate Model?

Hello, I recently purchased the 2015 Genesis (Ultimate). I love it so far, didn't realize how useful HUD is until I got this car.

Sadly, I found out that Apple Carplay is not possible due to the hardware limitation. It's really a bummer since the map update also costs $145...

I have been watching a few youtube videos and it seems like people install the display box to mirror their smartphone screen. I am wondering if phone mirroring is possible to install for this model.

If anyone tried, share your experience and thought. I would love to know more about it.
 
I am not certain about aftermarket adapter kit for mirroring, but the stock system does not mirror the phone when connected such as mirror-link radios.

Note: It seems that most mirroring devices require that the car stereo have a AV input for them to work. I do not believe that the Genesis has an video input; only audio.
