  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Is there a way to pause the CD/DVD or iPod when you receive a call?

Alas, not that I'm aware of. It's a feature I would use.

It should automatically pause your CD or MP3 player when a call comes in and resume when you're done.

Mine does just that, no matter what is the music source. Just hit the phone button to answer.

Does it pause the music or mute the music?

It "mutes" the music when a call comes in. You can see the time ticking away when on the phone. It does not "pause" the music source.

I came up with a pretty easy solution to this. When a call comes in, I switch to either XM or FM depending on what i hit first. This way your CD or IPOD (which I use) is paused until you go back to it. Works for me.

So you're saying you can switch the audio source when the Bluetooth ring tone is ringing?
If so, it's a pretty smart way to pause it.

Either way, it's stupid that the music source still plays when in a call.
Similar Handsfree system in a in a different manufacturer lineup does this pause thing and I think Lexicon should've been designed that way also.
Oh well, what can I say. It still sounds awesome.

I agree pausing is ideal, but it doesn't seem to be that common based on the 3 vehicles we've owned with bluetooth, as well as those of friends I've seen. Muting is probably much easier to program, because it's always the same action no matter which source is currently active. When you consider all the potential sources that could be active (USB, iPod, CD/DVD, radio, aux), having to check and perform the appropriate action based on source is more trouble and so they just don't do it.
