Recently bought a RWD 5.0L Ultimate and absolutely love the car, but it's a little hard to have too much fun since you don't seem to be able to totally disable the traction control.
Modes I'm aware of:
1. Normal mode - all traction-related driver aides are turned on by default.
2. Press the traction control button once. Traction control "disabled".
3. Hold the traction control button down for a few seconds. Both traction and control and stability control are disabled.
My questions are:
1. What is the difference between those three modes? What can the car do in #3 that it can't do in #2 and what can the car do in #2 that it can't do in #1?
2. In mode #3, you still can't do anything too crazy that will break the tires loose for more than a brief chirp. The brakes kick in and reign you back in, cowboy!
Sometimes I like to have a little fun and burn some rubber, but that doesn't seem possible in this car. Don't get me wrong - I didn't buy this car to do donuts in the parking lot, but for some reason I feel like I need to at least have the option of doing that, should I so choose.
