  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey guys, Complete noob here, my 2013 Genesis 3.8L sedan (w/o EHPS) has power steering fluid leak & i circled in picture where the leak's coming from and its spraying everywhere.

My question is if this is the pressure hose or return hose? Or does it not matter & i have to buy assembly to replace both anyway? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, can i just get it welded or replacing is the only solution?Capture+_2020-06-02-09-41-06.webpCapture+_2020-06-02-09-45-15.webp

Not to sure. You should replace it. Maybe both of them? Also hit the underneath of your car with some fluid film or wd40 slow that rust .

Generally, if the line has a clamp (like the one on the other line), it is the low pressure (return) side. In this case, that would make the other line (the one I think you are asking about) the high pressure line.
As mentioned, I think I would replace both at this time as they are probably in similar shape.

alright thx guys, Gonna spend all day tomorrow trying to find it online first, otherwise i'll just drive into nearby Napa & get it done there.
