  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does it sound like a starter issue or something to do with the fuel system?

It sounds like it is getting very little fuel.

Do you think it could be a fuel pump issue or a fuel injector issue?
It would probably have to be over half the injectors, so probably not that. Yes, it could a fuel pump. It could also be any sensor issue that might make the PCM think that it should only inject a tiny bit of fuel, for instance if it thought no air was going into the engine.
I think that you need a good enough scan tool that you can graph things such as how much fuel the PCM thinks it is injecting when the starter is running, how much airflow it sees, and so on.
