  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I've had my 2010 genesis 3.8 coupe for 18 months now. Bought it used and put about 25k on it since May 2011. Since I've had it I noticed when I go through a car wash water leaks inside on the drivers side around where the side view mirror connects to the door.

I never bothered with it, because it didn't seem like a huge issue. I'm getting a seal test done next week at the dealer, because now the button on the handle either responds with a delay (2-3 seconds after it is pushed), or doesn't work at all. The passenger side of the car is fine.

Just wondering if anyone has had any similar issues with seals. Also, dealer can tell me for sure if warranty covers it because it could have been caused by someone hitting the mirror. This sucks, because I've never hit it on anything.

Thanks.
