  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello all, guess I am not that good with the search function as I am certain this must have been discussed already, so apologies for asking again, for anyone who has installed the JB4 on their 2.0T, does this provide noticeable real life power and torque improvements, or is it rather “marginal” ? Thanks !

Yes, it's a very noticeable difference. The car pulls much harder, especially in the mid-range. It feels like a completely different vehicle. Just use higher octane fuel.

Hello and thanks for sharing ! When you mention higher octane, here in Montréal, most gas stations offer 93 and PetroCanada offers 94, are these the “higher” numbers you are referring to ? Also I have read mostly comments for the 3.3T with JB4 where the recommendation is to also use “colder” plugs, I am thinking this would also be applicable for the 2.0T ?

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Yes the "colder" plugs would be applicable for the 2.0T as well.

Also there are other alternatives to the JB4, google "TruControl by STILLEN Inline Power Module" They make a piggy back module for the 2.0T G70/Stinger that has dyno charts etc... to help estimate bang/buck. I would imagine the JB4 provides similar results.

Other 2.0T owners have also reported that cold air intake + piggy back module(plugs and 93octane) + front /rear sway bars , go a long way to reduce the 3.3T FOMO we all suffer ;)

I love my 2.0T, got a smoking deal on it with 16k miles and I'm keeping her as long as I can.

Good luck in your journey!

Thanks Unixpilot, appreciate the good info, will now be doing my homework !
