JB4 tune no longer shipping to CA?

Hey all, not sure if this is something new, but I am working on a g70 and was planning on getting this tune but apparently it no longer ships to California. Any workarounds? or will I have to go the Lap3 route

I do but I live so close to the Berger Tuning shop in SoCal. But yeah, I guess I will have to ship it to a relative (only problem is that they are in Baltimore).

Why can't you drive there and buy it? or let them ship it to me and I'll send it to you or "use" other member who lives closer, I'm sure they wouldn't mind doing this for you. I live in Illinois.

I think this is a normal thing honestly. I may be planning a Cali trip in the next few weeks depending on other things. If you don’t have one by then I could swing by and go buy it for you. They should sell it to me directly. I have a nv license

I tried ordering the JB4 from the BMS website and it wouldn't let me purchase it with a shipping address in CA. So I ordered it here from the genesisowners.com forum store. I actually ended up paying less that way. I had to pay for shipping from Florida, but there was no sales tax at all. I would have paid CA sales tax if I had ordered it from BMS.

Unfortunately, I had to wait two weeks for it to get here; it just arrived today. Turns out it was out of stock, but there was no mention of that when I ordered it.

Out of curiosity I checked again and the BMS website still won't let me finish the checkout process when trying to ship a JB4 to CA. I tried my address in the Bay Area and also an address in southern CA. I'm glad it worked for you! I wonder what the difference is.

Hey sorry took so long. Vegas vacation, but I really dont know. I live in a small town by Bakersfield and I put my home address in and it never said anything to me about not being able to ship. Maybe I just got lucky. No clue

This is not a big deal. You can buy the same things from China, and it'll be even cheaper, most likely. I've always thought that everything is not of high quality in China, but then I've realized that you can always find suitable products at an excellent price if you know where to buy them there. Also, I like those post companies that deliver parcels to the United States. I like that they allow you to use the china post tracking to check the parcel's status whenever you want to know when it will arrive.

Well you could give it a shot and post your results! Or.. maybe develop your own product and write your own software. Hey, remember there have been multi-billion $$$ computer companies which started on with a design drawn on the back of a napkin.
