  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

JD Power's Annual Quality Survey

I wonder if this may be due to the small(er) sales numbers for the Genesis brand. The PP100 measure though averages out the findings so I'm not really sure.
Not only is it actual mechanical/electrical problems that count, but also problematic experiences such as connecting your phone via Bluetooth or using the navigation. The Genesis models tend to be quite simple to use so less people are likely to complain about them.

All in all, J.D. Power does count Genesis in their rankings so the sample size is sufficient enough to be valid. A great victory for Genesis!

Agreed. That's quite the accomplishment for a brand so young.

Quality starts long before the assembly line. No matter how many or how few cars you make, you need good engineering, good assembly equipment, good suppliers, etc. You have to be willing to spend the money for quality also. You have to WANT quality and a reputation for it.

This is awesome news, but to be honest I expected it... :banghead:
