  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I just purchased my 2013 Hyundai Genesis and have been getting used to all of the awesome features it has. One of these features is learning about how the Jukebox works and some of the things it is finicky about.

So I thought I'd start a thread to discuss the ins and outs of the Jukebox.

I've found some other posts in this forum regarding the Jukebox and thought I'd start with what I do know.

- The Jukebox contains a 30 Gig hard drive that you can download MP3's, JPEG pictures, and MP4 video files.

- The music files have to be MP3's. It will not recognize or play any other type of music file (at least from what I've seen).

- Video files must be generic MP4 or VCD files and they can't be over 640 x 480 resolution to be recognized and played.

Some questions I'm still trying to get resolved:

- When you are playing a video file, is there a way to fast forward through it?
- Is there a way to rename a file once it's been copied to the HDD from your USB device?
- I can't figure out why some photos load and are shown and some are not. Does anyone have the specs or requirements on pictures?

You can fast forward with the seek/track buttons, but AFAIK, there is no way to rename them. Pictures are limited to 5MB, but in my experience, they need to be a little smaller than that to be viewed, even if it looks like they copied. Details are in the DIS manual, not the owners manual.
