If anyone knew if the rear bumpers from the 2012 were interchangable? It seems that they may be, and would be an easy way to upgrade the rear of the car. Any thoughts? Also, I would like to say hello!

Possibly, but I think the car would look pretty crazy without also adding the side skirts and new front valance and grill........
 
Ah... I haven't really looked at the two side by side. I will have to do that.
 
Wouldn't that be kind of expensive, especially since you bought a used car instead of new?

I would love to change my side skirts to the ones on the 2012. Anyone know if they will fit? Oh, sorry for jacking your thread and welcome to the forums! :D

The ground fx are slightly different on the '12. And if you do replace the rear bumper, you would have to remove the exhaust tips. And the front bumper has several trim pieces and mouldings that are sold separately. Hell, you have to get a new '12 hood garnish cause the '09 garnish will not match with the newer grill. Overall, its not going to be cheap.

When I had my '09 Genesis, I wanted to replace the passanger side rocker panel. It would have cost me nearly $500 ($300 for the rocker panel and $180 for paint) the satin white color is more expensive (three coat process) So I could only imagine what you will spend to do the whole car. Thousands.

My suggestion: get the rksport body kit, or save your money.
