KDM Highway driving assist 2015.

Yes, that’s right. As far as I know, the KDM 2015 has highway driving assist. It also had pedestrian detection and the ability to automatically pull over in an emergency. Why couldn’t we get this in the states? We just got basic highway driving assist in like 2020.

So what stops us from adding this to our US 2015 cars? Why couldn’t we get it in 2015, in addition to other features like the 360 camera, self parking system, etc.

The 360 camera was added in 2018... The self-park would have been awesome for this big beast!

The other driver aids were prob dropped because of cost and/or US regs.

Yes. But they already had the 360 camera in 2015. Heck I believe you could even get self parking on a 2015 Sonota in Korea. I was trying to ask if there’s maybe anyway we can retrofit these features to our US 2015s.

360 Camera in a 2015? My 5.0 Ultimate sure doesn't have it...

You are correct the US 2015 did not have a 360 camera. However, in korea for the domestic models they got a 360 camera on the 2015.

The US models had some strange omissions for sure - like no heated steering wheel, heated rear seats & etc... Seemed like these would have been no-brainers. I would kill for self parking...
