KDM wings on ebay

I received the following from ebay for my hood and trunk wings from seoulfulracing.com ...

We're writing to let you know that eBay has ended the following item you were bidding on because the seller broke one or more of eBay's rules:

270269917657 - 09+ HYUNDAI GENESIS SEDAN KDM EMBLEM SET (HOOD+TRUNK)


For privacy reasons we can't tell you exactly why we ended the seller's listings.

As eBay removed the item, you are no longer obliged to send payment for it. Please don't send money or respond to any emails from the seller.​

Since this was an auction for multiple pieces my purchase only deducted the total amount he had for sale and I paid immediately through paypal. I think Im ok as far as coverage if the product doesnt arrive, but my question is did anybody else get this message, or know what the fraud consisted of?

have not received my wings yet but it hasnt been the 10 days that it said that it would take for shipment, either.

Thoughts?

I'd check directly with eBay to make sure the message really did come from eBay. Over the years I have gotten many messages that purported to come from eBay that were really a phishing scam.

Seems to be legit, cause the auction itself is gone... it was in the won folder, but now it is as though it never existed.

Make sure you don't click on a link that purports to be from eBay. They will then ask you to sign in and the phisher will then have your ID and password and be able to then sell non existant items in your name and collect the money and ruin your name on eBay.

I don't know about this particular case. Hopefully you will get your merchandise.

Since you paid with paypal you should not loose any money if you don't get the merchandise.

I got the same email today. I ordered wheel center caps from him 9 days ago. I have yet to get the items or one piece of communication. I don't know why I bought something from someone overseas, if he really is...

I emailed too, but it hasn't been returned yet. What email address did you send to? I sent to cs@seoulfulracing.com and seoulfulracing@yahoo.com. All of his other auctions are gone too.

Curious what he did.

I also received the same e-mail. I purchased both the badges and the wheel caps from them on 9/2 and payed immediately using PayPal. The wheel caps arrived yesterday so hopefully the badges are not far behind *fingers crossed*.

This situation would be fine if the seller just COMMUNICATED with the buyer. I don't understand why so many sellers can't even seem to send an email after a sale saying they received the payment, and then send another email when the product has shipped. How hard is that?

My center caps arrived today. I guess the guy is legit, he just must have done something wrong with ebay.
The caps look great, just weird that all 4 aren't in the same position. My front driver's side cap is right side up while the rear is upside down.

I had the same issue. I wonder if it is simply a matter of how each wheel is placed on the bolts (eg - one is rotated one bolt to the right or left when they put them on at the factory?)

Pat1USMC, when I was in the Marines more than forty years ago I remember when a platoon made a column left or right the guys on the outside had to move much faster than the guys on the inside of the turn. Viking may not have been in the Marines to know this.

In other words all four wheels do not make the same number of revolutions over any given distance.

If you some how got your wings all aligned facing the same way and drove around the block they would no longer be facing the same.

I ordered my Set of Genesis Wing Emblems on September 2 and received them yesterday, I am not sure what is going on but the company appears to be legit. I also ordered the set of wheel caps and should get htem on Tuesday.

I would send the seller an email and maybe they will let you know what is really going on here !!

I also got the eBay mail. I had communicated with the merchant previously to combine shipment of wings and wheel caps. He answered and took care or a combined shipment (and reduced shipping charge with a PayPal refund). When I saw the eBay mail I sent a mail to him asking if my items had been shipped. He responded and said they were shipped and it takes 10-14 days to receive. Means I have a few days to go. The address I used was seoulfulracing@yahoo.com. He signs email as KDMGuy but his name is Jay Kim. Will let you all know when my stuff is received.
