Key Fob not working

I replaced the battery on the spare key fob and it still wont work. Any ideas? Can I get the spare fob replaced or repaired if car is still under warranty-I noticed with the main (everyday use) fob is starting to not lock doors and sluggish in locking and unlocking car. Im suspecting its the actual fob itself as I have replaced batteries in both....anyone else having problems? I have a 2015 Genesis.
 
Did you make sure the batteries are in correctly? I see it at least once a week where someone replaced the battery and it still doesn't work, which ends up being the battery being installed upside down.
 
I had a problem with my fob yesterday. No matter how many times I pushed the "Lock" button, the doors would still not unlock.
 
Interference near by? Didn't people say it didn't work well near phones and Bluetooth devices or similar in nature?
