  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Color me impressed...my wife was in the market for a new car, and while nothing caught her eye in the sub/compact/wagon category, she did remember the catchy Kia Soul commercials (yes, the ones with the hamsters). Lo and behold, we ended up at the Kia dealership, and they look even better in person.

$17.5K out the door w/ TTL and the upgraded audio package on a 2010 Soul + ("Plus") M/T. I was impressed not only by the styling, but the fuel economy (24/30 for the 5-speed), pep, raft of safety features (ABS w/ assist, ESC, traction control, side curtain airbags, seatbelt pretensioning), and decent electronics (Sirius, MP3 USB & aux, steering wheel controls, cruise control, voice command, Bluetooth, dual 12V power outlets).

Aside from the gigantic KIA badges (which my wife wants to rebadge) and garish "Soul" seat inserts on the Plus, it's an impressive B/C-seg for well under $20K.

Yeah, I liked the car too.
Never got a chance to drive one, but the features that you get for the price was pretty impressive.
Styling is pretty good, IMO.

Lol @ the hamster commercial.

I just purchased a Hyundai Elantra Touring (i30 in europe). Ver solid car, the same safety features, just an all round great vehicle. Very impressed with it.
